2023 KIA Sportage Hybrid

The vehicle was brought in due to a dead 12V battery that failed shortly after purchase. The customer reported that the battery was no longer holding a charge, prompting a diagnostic inspection. The dealership confirmed the 12V battery was defective and required replacement. Additionally, the vehicle underwent a multi-point inspection, and tire pressures were checked and adjusted.

2021 KIA Sorento Hybrid

The vehicle was brought in multiple times for a recurring dashboard warning related to the inverter coolant system. Initially, the coolant was refilled and the system was confirmed to be working. However, the issue persisted, especially after short stops during drives, prompting the replacement of the electric water pump and further system testing. When the warning continued, the dealership was instructed to replace the coolant with a different type and re-bleed the system. Additionally, the customer reported that the tire pressure warning light would not turn off even after refilling, but no definitive resolution was documented. The vehicle was out of service for a total of 92 days across these visits.

2023 KIA EV6

The vehicle was repeatedly brought in for electrical system issues, particularly involving difficulty starting and dashboard warnings such as “check charging system” and “check electrical system.” Despite multiple recall-related software updates and ICCU inspections/replacements (SC302, SC311, SC327, SA599), the vehicle continued to require jumpstarts on several occasions. The 12V battery was eventually found to be faulty and was replaced. After replacement, the vehicle started normally and no further issues were reported at that time. These incidents occurred across four visits between November 2024 and February 2025.
